Abstract:This paper briefly introduces the characteristics of the Baguamiao gold deposit belonging to a typical gold deposit of tectono-alteration rock. Based on initial analysis of geochemical features for the Baguamiao and the Simaoling gold deposits, it can be inferred that the Baguamiao gold deposit and Simaoling gold deposit probably are different from each other in terms of the metallogenic model·They may be different metallogenic subsystems in the same system. The dendrogram on cluster analysis of primary halo at variously depth in the Baguamiao gold deposit reveals that the correlation between Au and magmatophile elements is getting closer and closer as the depth increases, reflecting magma participated in gold mineralization in the Baguamiao deposit. It focuses on the ore-control factors in the deposit and the surrounding area, including ore-control structures, strata as well as lithological and alteration· The enrichment characteristics have been summarized based on both the Baguamiao and Caima gold deposits and furthermore prospecting potential and direction are pointed out-
