He said China had become the current biggest global investor.
Speaking at the same function, Zhonghui Mining Group president, Charles Shi said exploration works have started in North-Western Province while on the Copperbelt province they have applied for an operating licence.
Mr Shi said the agreement signed will give management confidence in as far as their investments in Zambia are concerned.
And acting Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, Wang Ni said his Government was encouraging investments in developing countries with a focus on Africa.
Mr Ni said Zhonghui Mining Group is one of China's largest private companies with no Government support which has successfully expanded its activities in China and abroad.
He described Chinese private companies as aggressive and fearless.
