據(jù)贊比亞報(bào)紙《Daily Mail of Zambia》周四報(bào)導(dǎo),中國(guó)中輝國(guó)際礦業(yè)集團(tuán)(Zhonghui Mining Group)已經(jīng)與贊比亞政府簽署協(xié)議,將向贊比亞的銅礦帶和西北部地區(qū)的多個(gè)礦產(chǎn)項(xiàng)目投資36億美元.
該報(bào)稱,中輝國(guó)際礦業(yè)集團(tuán)將為這些項(xiàng)目擬定一份實(shí)施框架,這些項(xiàng)目預(yù)計(jì)將帶來(lái)34,000個(gè)就業(yè)機(jī)會(huì).
該報(bào)援引中輝國(guó)際礦業(yè)集團(tuán)總裁Charles Shi的話稱,在贊比亞西北部地區(qū)的勘探工作已經(jīng)展開,公司還為獲得銅礦帶的經(jīng)營(yíng)許可而提交了申請(qǐng).贊比亞大量的銅礦和鈷礦都集中在這兩個(gè)省份.
自2004年以來(lái),中資企業(yè)一直在收購(gòu)贊比亞的礦業(yè)資產(chǎn).

Chinese firm clinches mining deal

GOVERNMENT has signed an Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (IPPA) with Zhonghui Mining Group of China that has committed to invest US$3.6 billion in mining projects on the Copperbelt and North-Western provinces.
The project is expected to create about 34,000 jobs.
Speaking at the signing ceremony in Lusaka yesterday, Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister, Felix Mutati described the investment by Zhonghui mining as one of China's largest private sector investment in southern Africa.
